Safe Handling of Solvents
Although solvents are not dangerous when handled properly they do present hazards to health, safety and environment. The video below identifiy these hazards and the good practices required for safe handling.
The main hazards of solvents covered are: their ability to catch fire and cause explosions; the effect on health due to exposure through contact, ingestion or inhalation; the effect on the environment. Simple preventative measures to minimise the risk from these hazards are suggested.
