The chemical industry is subject to a wide variety of regulations, which govern methods of manufacture and processing, distribution, the uses of the chemicals themselves, and of course, their disposal.

Here, we will aim to provide an overview of some of the recent developments within the industry - i.e.- forthcoming legislation, progress on consultative documents, timeframes for implementation; specific advice on developments with the proposed REACH legislation, and an update on other recently published legislation including suggested approaches for practical implementation.
