Health & Safety

The SIA works in conjuntion with government bodies such as the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to ensure that oxygenated and hydrocarbon solvents are handled and used in a safe and responsible manner.

The SIA offers advice and guidance on best practise and safe handling, with the majority of its Technical Sub-Commitee's work programmes focused on providing information and advice for improved safety, health, and environmental performance.
